Forest Bluff Training Group
Dog training is a fantastic way for us to not only teach our dogs how to make better choices and learn new behaviors, but to also build upon their quality of life. Our trainer Ian focuses on the use of positive training to help enrich the lives of our furry friends by providing mental stimulation and building confidence. These techniques work to strengthen the human-animal bond and achieve goals that you have set for your pet. Ian will evaluate your pet's current knowledge while working within your goals to help tailor training toward your individual pet. Types of Classes Offered Day Training- ( Tuesday through Friday) This is generalized obedience training that allows you to drop your dog off in the morning and pick him or her up in the afternoon. Day training is best for dogs that are social and need to work on general obedience as well as social cues or "appropriate play." In day training, we teach new behaviors and show you how to practice them at home. Group Classes- (ask for availability) This helps you develop your training skills while spending time with your dog in a group setting. Private Lessons- (available upon request) These lessons encompass the same behaviors that are learned in day training such as general obedience but are 100% personalized and tailored to your goals. These can be in-home or in our facility. Private training is better suited for dogs that have specific behavioral concerns such as leash reactivity or certain types of anxiety. Puppy Preschool- (Saturday's Only) This off-leash play group is designed for puppies (6 months and younger and are 25 lbs or less) to develop proper socialization skills, and get exposure to other dogs at a crucial age.
